Out of print/rare book search:

We regularly help our customers find the books they want, even if those books are no longer available from traditional publishers. If there is a rare, unusual or out-of-print book that you have been searching for, let us help you find it. We promise to find you the lowest price available, in the condition you'd like, and present you with an honest discussion of your options.

Wish list/Gift registry:

When you love someone who loves books, it's not easy to know what to gift your bibliophile. What have they already read? Which author writes in the same genres as other authors they like? Let us help you keep track. Send your book lover to us, and we'll follow them around the bookstore while they dream aloud and dictate their wish list to us. We'll keep it on file, so that when you come to buy a birthday or Christmas gift, we can tell you what they want ... plus we'll make sure that two people don't buy the same book on their list. Your book lover doesn't live in the area? No problem. Have them email us their wish list, so you can shop with us, and still make them happy. If you don't live here, but want to support your local family's favorite bookstore, we can work with you, too! Just call or email us your gift order for them. We do this all the time!

From My Shelf serves a much larger community than just the town of Wellsboro where we have our brick-and-mortar store. For our regular customers who live in Coudersport, or Galeton, or Mansfield, or Elkland ... or anywhere in the tri-county area ... or the Twin Tiers ... or beyond ... we can and do regularly ship books! We have a brisk online business, from which we ship new and used books from our store 6 days a week. In addition, we are able to ship books DIRECTLY to you, or your family, from our wholesaler's warehouse, so that any new book you choose can bypass coming to our store first, therefore saving you time and high shipping costs. Ask us for more details on this fantastic program ... we can, and regularly do, beat prices from most big chains, AND you talk to a real person should any problems arise.
